2011 Monbousquet St Emilion Grand Cru Classe
Had a revisit of Bordeaux 2011 today. Quick summary: 1. It's a cab sav vintage, most left banks produced good wines. 2. Right bank can't really make it. 3. Quality is not across the board, pick your labels carefully. Monbousquet Nose is of deep dark fruit, blueberry & cedar. Palette spicy, slightly diluted, blueberry, dry, still tannic. Not exciting label.
