RARE GRAPE VARIETALS
This is made by Uva di Troia, a rare grape varietal found in Italy. It’s supposed to give good structure and high tannins. But I didn’t have that experience with this label....
Very fruity nose to start with. Palate was soft and approachable, definitely lacked the structure and tannins that I’m searching for, for this grape varietal. Relatively easy drinking, and surprisingly slightly salty and dry, definitely a fruity wine to boot.
