2012 Chateau Beauregard Pomerol
STARS OF RIGHT BANK 2012
These are my brief report on the Bordeaux 2012 vintages that I tasted. Top 3 of my favorites are:
1. La Conseillante
2. Beauregard
3. Canon la Gaffelier
This under rated vineyard from Pomerol always did very well when I taste them young, and I believe it'll continue to do well. Loads of charred, burned fruits on the nose. Palette is ripe, pleasant and I really liked the purity of the fruits, very forward style, a tad sour. I have faith it'll age gracefully.
