2012 Chateau D'Armailhac Pauillac
BORDEAUX PAUILLAC 2012 REPORT
Pauillac produces slightly above average wines, running ahead of Saint Julien and Graves, but slightly inferior compared to Margaux. I wouldn't load up too much on this appellation if you're looking to buy. The only wine that stood out, and was one of the two Wine of The Day for me Pichon Lalande.
d'Armailhac was average, loads of red dark fruits on the nose. Vanilla, forward and slightly rich palette, not very impressive.
