2012 Chateau de Lauga Haut Medoc
WOODY
In a mood of fun, I blind fold this bottle and guess its appellation. Boy am I right that I said it’s Haut Medoc. Nose of little fruit and wood, an obvious character of left bank, not as expressive as right bank. Palate wise, left bank usually more tannic. This wine progress to form an integrated tannins, I guess it’s a strong blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon! Taste of cream, vanilla oak, and woodiness throughout as if I am fixing wooden table while drinking wine at the same time!
