2012 Chateau Olivier Grand Cru Classe
VERSUS PAPE CLEMENT BLANC 06
This bottle was served right next to Pape Clement Blanc 06 (which I just reported in my previous post). I think it's not making sense but it's the organizer's prerogative.
Nose was full of ripe fruits and cooked lemon. Even though the content wasn't bad, possessing ripe, forward, slightly rich but very acidic characters, reflecting a loud and bold wine, but the shy Pape Clement overwhelmed it by a mile. Olivier only striked me for first impression but no lasting power.
