2012 Georges Lignier et Fils Bonnes Mares Grand Cru
CHERRY PERFUME
If I can order Christian Dior to make a perfume, it’ll be exactly like this cherry perfume coming from this wine, unreal.
Content was equally impressive, ripe cherries to start off, with deep and broad layers down the palate. I’m really impressed with the wine, matured and without rough edges. The only problem was that it probably required a decade to age, as the underlying tannins were still unresolved. I believe in a decade’s time, I’ll definitely award it 5 stars, rare for me!
