2012 Ghost Pines Merlot Napa Valley
I decided to try a Napa red merlot wine tonight for a change. Was mildly disappointed with the wine. A tad too simple, even though it's quite rounded and fruity (a predictable merlot), but lacks obvious complexity and depth, and also a bit short on the finishing (probably just an average wine maker based on the label and price tag). Also didn't feel too much alcohol in the wine which makes me feel better.
