2012 Haut Bages Liberal Pauillac
BORDEAUX PAUILLAC 2012 REPORT
Pauillac produces slightly above average wines, running ahead of Saint Julien and Graves, but slightly inferior compared to Margaux. I wouldn't load up too much on this appellation if you're looking to buy. The only wine that stood out, and was one of the two Wine of The Day for me Pichon Lalande.
Disappointing. Sour berries and red berries lurked in the mouth, but body of wine was too diluted.
