UPCOMING WINEMAKER
Fischer as a winemaker was relatively unknown to me until I keep bumping into it in Puligny First tastings. I have tasted the 07, 08, 10 & 12 to formulate a view now, and I’m not shy to think that it’s a good upcoming winemaker, it keeps improving year after year!
This 2012 was fruity and strongly chlorinated on the nose. I loved the finishing, extremely long, and the balance was also impressive, although still a little bit of over acidity, doesn’t bother me at all!
