2012 Joseph Faiveley Fourchaume Chablis 1 Er Cru
I promised to save the best for last, and this is it for my Faiveley portfolio tasting. I always thought Chablis is salty, goes well with only oyster or shells, but this time I hv to change my mind. The nose has already won my heart with rich flower aroma, more like spring blended with summer flower, almost a perfect nose. The palette is intensively rich, bold & buttery, almost a perfect premier Cru for me, esp the price is affordable. I grabbed a case without hesitation.
