2012 Lynch Bages Pauillac
BORDEAUX PAUILLAC 2012 REPORT
Pauillac produces slightly above average wines, running ahead of Saint Julien and Graves, but slightly inferior compared to Margaux. I wouldn't load up too much on this appellation if you're looking to buy. The only wine that stood out, and was one of the two Wine of The Day for me Pichon Lalande.
Not a bad effort here. Loads of coffee and espresso, like going to a cafe. Lush and chewable fruits, rather rich, but lacks structure to be in the top league.
