2012 Trimbach Gewurztraminer Alsace

Tasting of a variety of Trimbach range of wines. Walk away feeling was that it was at best an average Alsace producer, even though initially I thought highly of them.
I finally came across a Trimbach that I liked! One of the best Pinot Gris from Alsace.
Finally this doesn't have the overwhelming tropical fruit nose, instead, this was vastly toned down very faint pineapple nose.
Palate was very fresh, very refreshing, even though it was light, it had good length and depth. Recommended!
