Albert Mann has not hit our Singapore shores yet, although I had the privilege to get a glimpse of it. After tasting the whole series of its Pinot Gris, I somehow concluded that either Pinot Gris wasn't his strength, or the vintage itself was weak.
This was certainly a better one amongst the 3 Pinot Gris 2013 I tasted. Heavy fruit driven with mild banana and lesser oak used. Slightly cooked, although refined but ripe, elegant tropical fruits. Deep layers with really good complexities.
