2013 Domaine de Chevalier Pessac Leognan Blanc
BORDEAUX BLANC REPORT #2
Overall, Bordeaux 2013 was an extremely disappointing vintage, the whites were not doing any better despite some reports claimed it otherwise. I report with no strings attached, nor any vested interests.
Very muted nose. Palate was smooth, elegant, slightly clinical and slightly woody, in addition to the slightly sour and acidic characters. Wasn't as bad as I thought but it was lacking some kind of past charming elements in the wine itself.
