It seemed to me that Bordeaux roses were quite approachable and reliable as their counterpart reds. Perhaps not from deriving pleasure and complexity, but from the predictability of reliability, they’re decent quality.
This was a blend of some Syrah and Grenache grapes. Very full body, big and flavorful. Goes well with big food. I had spicy food today and this rose blended in well, extinguished some of the fiery chilli spices by using it’s muscular and bold fruit style.
