2014 Fontaine Gagnard Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot
Not a well know plot from Chassagne in my book, performance was really average Chassagne Montrachet style. While chilled, the bouquet has a relatively bright acidity and floral freshness. Like most Chassagne Montrachet, when the chill losses effect, the acidity went away, and some wet rock and minerality surfaced along with moderately big fruits in the content. The content didn’t stick in my memory for long and was quickly forgotten.
