2014 Freemark Abbey Chardonnay
DOUBTFUL
The representative of this label was telling me that this wine was represented in Judgment of Paris (a blind tasting that elevated the status of American wine and demoted French wines). I'd say those days judges were inexperienced in tasting new world wines, so for a change, they selected these big chunky new world wines.
Nose was typical new world and very kiwi alike; Fruity. Palate was extremely fruity, new world style and one dimensional. Definitely lacked the sophistication of white burgs.
