2014 Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de La Mouchere Monopole
My first bottle wasn’t impressive, with overwhelming fresh acidity. Today I popped my 2nd bottle and I must admit it was beyond my expectations! Totally different from the first bottle. The wine was really in harmony, great but not overwhelming acidity with the balance of very soft and fruity fruits came into perfect balance. One of the best premier cru you can find out there, definitely worth the Monopole status apart from what I believe is bottle variations.
