2014 Tuerce Botas Rioja Tempranillo Blanc
TEMPRANILLO BLANC First time I come across a Tempranillo Blanc grape variety, very rare. This vineyard claimed to be the first one discovering this grape variety and first vineyard to produce such a wine. Very intense nose coupled with slight honeycomb. Palette was intense, big, bold and interestingly unique. I'm not sure how best to describe it, somehow similar to Chateauneauf du Pape Blancs character, but I guess it'll split path after some bottle age (provided this wine can age).
