2015 Albert Mann Alsace Cuvee Pauline Rosenberg Riesling
DECENT MAKER
First time I tasted these Alsace wines from Albert Mann, whom I think makes very decent wines and potential to catch up with other good makers in Alsace.
I heard this plot maybe promoted to a premier cru when the new system is in place. Deserving. Elegant pine wood nose. Content is intense, rich, thick, ripe, strong lemon taste, and strangely oily, relatively long, nice easy drink still. Was a bit overpowering, perhaps needs time to mellow down. Recommended.
