SHADES OF PINEAPPLES
I came to realize that most Gewurztraminer produced in Alsace contained some shades of pineapples, it’s only a matter of intensity of pineapples. This clue helped greatly in blind tasting, as I detected nothing but only pineapple in these Gewurztraminers.
This label was no difference, although not an aggressive pineapple. More like the baby shaved pineapples you find in streets of Phuket. Young and fresh in taste, not complex nor complicated, but provided enough pleasure for me.
