I have to admit this is my first time trying the grapes Marsanne and Roussanne. The fun part about blind tasting these is that I have no previous knowledge on how they would smell or taste like, and that excited me!
Nose of green fruits, mostly pear, and hints of herbal notes. There was a bit of grass that reminded me of a Sauvignon Blanc nose. The palate was nothing extraordinary with moderate acidity. For my first time drinking this, there was nothing special that stood out to impress me.
