2015 Willy Gisselbrecht Gewurztraminer Selection
As a winery from Alsace since the 17tg century, I decided to review some of their wines. It’s been a very fun review, as the staple was very diversified and all kinds of flavor!
This Selection was probably their mid range staple. A whiff and I was teleported to a tropical island, as the tropical fruits and pineapple was so abundant.
Palate was obvious pineapple and lychee. This Gewurstraminer was quite low on acidity, quite dull and blunt, tasted a bit cheap, so I’d avoid.
