2016 Chateau du Tertre Margaux
BORDEAUX 2016 REPORT
Was at a Bordeaux En Primeur 2016 yesterday, excited to report my findings. Bear in mind these wines are still 15 months away from being bottled, so you need to have a bit of imagination and past Bordeaux drinking experience towards the content.
One of the weaker wines in the tasting. Nose of fine wood, very muted. Palate was ripe but very thin, typical of Du Tertre style. The fruits were decent, although I suspect the overly light style could not age the wine well.
