After having their impressive second label wine, obviously I had to taste their Grand Vin to see how far apart are they? Frankly, not too far! Unlike the second wine, this was 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Franc, quite an atypical blend. Thus vegetal hit me on my first whiff, along with floral and strong perfume. Undeniably extremely chewy fruits greeted me, loads of great fruits, predominantly blueberry and black currants. This went through proper malolactic fermentation, thus it's tighter.
