2016 Chateau Olivier Grand Cru Classe Blanc
BORDEAUX 2016 BLANC
Was at a Bordeaux En Primeur 2016 yesterday, excited to report my findings. Bear in mind these wines are still 4 months away from being bottled, so you need to have a bit of imagination and past Bordeaux drinking experience towards the content.
My first 16 Blanc, was interesting! I found the acidity much higher than past vintages, won't be so dull anymore. Nose of strong & ripe fruits. Very good balance, it was almost a grapefruit wine to me. I'm glad Bordeaux Blanc style has change.
