2016 Kumeu River Mates Vineyard Chardonnay
Some wine critics gave it high rating, almost equivalent to a Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet. I cannot believe it till I taste it. It was extremely impressive on the first sip, a worthy challenger to white burgundies. But I said time will tell, within an hour in the glass, fruits were completely dead, left with acid only. At this stage I believe Tartaric acid was pumped into the wine!
