2016 Moulin de Gassac Sauvignon
2ND WINE OF MDDS?
This was surely produced by Mas de Daumas Gassac, but I’m not too sure whether they classify this as their 2nd wine of the Blanc I reported a few days ago, as this is a single grape varietal, but definitely inferior compared to the Blanc.
Nice fruity nose to boot. I thought it was Chardonnay initially although the Sauvignon Blanc character showed up later. Very sharp and focused. Very friendly and easygoing wine with some layer definitions in it. Turned creamy at later stage.
