2016 Phelan Segur
BORDEAUX 2016 ST ESTEPHE
Was at a Bordeaux En Primeur 2016 yesterday, excited to report my findings. Bear in mind these wines are still 4 months away from being bottled, so you need to have a bit of imagination and past Bordeaux drinking experience towards the content.
Wasn't impressive too, perhaps not representative of St Estephe. Light and choking on the nose. Unique chewy fruits, mainly red fruits, still very tannic, but body was very light. I don't see much potential with this wine.
