2016 Vale dAldeia Alvarinho
ALVARINHO
This was my first encounter of such grape type, even Vivino did not have a grape variety called Alvarinho. This wine was 100% Alvarinho, very pleasurable.
Nose of slight soapy, floral, almost like summer flower. Enjoyed the palate, very refreshing, very tropical fruits so suitable for our local climate, passion fruits, flavorful, chewy, although strangely oily or waxy texture. Nice to drink it for lunch during the midst of this hot weather!
