2017 Verget Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Sous Le Puits

I always like to emphasize to see the true color of white burgundies, especially a young bottle, you have to chill it and then let it warm up in the glass. I usually have 2 glasses in front of me, one to sit around and warm up while I constantly evaluate, while the other drink it chilled. When warmed up, it’s like the naked swimmer will be revealed.
Nice bouquet of warm summer flower and slight oak profile. Content has nice acidity with great tension, I do enjoy the acidity which is not overwhelming but provides a very good structure to the wine. When the wine warmed up, the acidity resides and the fruits took over, and the content became very soft and approachable. I enjoyed such an evolution, very educational!
