Bordeaux 2011 Vintage Review
Had a revisit of Bordeaux 2011 today. Quick summary:
1. It's a cab sav vintage, most left banks produced good wines.
2. Right bank can't really make it.
3. Quality is not across the board, pick your labels carefully. Sour, acidic, smoky, some red fruit on the nose. Palette was quite normal with sweetness, vanilla, creamy, coffee, finishing with sour & acidic notes.
