I reported the Chevas Regal last night as a blended Scotch Whiskey, so I wanted to make a comparison tonight with another blended, although price tag was perhaps 5 10x more than Chevas Regal. Justifying it's price tag?
Not really, apart from being more refined and smooth, and perhaps more single malt style, it was just yet another blended Scotch Whiskey, not out of this world. Thus I have to conclude that we paid a lot for the marketing expenses rather than the substance of the liquor.
