This was served after the XO, totally wrong sequence as this was definitely a league below the XO Cognac I just reported in my last post. Perhaps an inexperienced staff with inadequate training, sad.
I’m not sure if the XO had covered the taste of this basic Cognac, but I do find this Cognac that’s aged for 4 to 10 years rather fruity and easy to drink, although lacking complexity. Not quite suitable for the totally spoiled Asian market.
