NV Carpenè Malvolti Prosecco Superiore Conegliano Valdobbiadene Brut
1868?
On the label it said 1868, I had a shock thinking this must have been a shipwreck champagne! But after talking to the winemaker, he clarified that it was the year that their champagne house established, how misleading? Doesn’t matter how many years they’re in the trade, didn’t impress me.
Bouquet of slight sweet gum. The bubbles were light and creamy, with loads of bubbles, making the champagne taste cheap in my opinion.
