NV Le Guishu Dry Sec
RICE WINE
Someone from Bordeaux decided to become creative by introducing a wine made from rice fermentation, just like how Chinese wines were made for the past 5000 years. I suspect it’s not 100% rice fermanted as I was able to detect a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The nose was quite interesting with some rice floral and lemon. Content wasn’t high in acid, in fact a bit mild and dull, almost like a Sauvignon Blanc produced in Bordeaux. The concept is interesting as it’s targeting 1.3B ppl.
