NV Moet & Chandon Imperial Brut
BRAND NAME
In a Champagne blind tasting during the weekend, this came out as the least favorite amongst everyone. Being one of the most well known Champagne houses, you would normally expect more, but sadly it was flat and dull. The brand name was its only saving grace.
Nose was a bit like toasted biscuits, with some citrus fruits, green apple, and was actually slightly chalky. The palate was simple with sour green apple notes but the high acidity masked the flavors. Finishing was short, flat and diluted.
