Normally the producer of a grower champagne also owns the land where the champagne is produced, thus the champagne is very terroir sensitive, as well as the vintage. Thus it's difficult to make a consistent year in, year out champagne.
Somehow nose was showing chlorinated swimming pool scent along with some green apple.
Content was light, although good precision and balance, which was the beauty of this champagne. I would prefer a bit more fruits to firm up the lightness character.
