Who Are Our Sake Educators?

Teaching is not just a job for our educators — it is is our mission. It is a culture that is ingrained in our educators and upheld by our leadership team. Our hiring process looks for more than just experience and qualifications; it also considers a candidate’s passion for changing the world. All our educators are accredited and certified by the WSET.


Adrian started his journey in the Sake industry in 2013. Since then, he has visited over 100 sake breweries in Japan, as well as in Taiwan, Australia, Canada, USA & England. He educates consumers about sake through curated seminars, workshops and food pairing sessions. He promotes not only the enjoyment of Japanese sake, but also the history and culture beyond the bottles. He was the organiser of the craft sake festival “Sake Matsuri Singapore” in 2018 & 2019, and has been a judge at the International Wine Challenge (IWC) Sake Awards, one of the largest sake competitions in the world, since 2017. Adrian has been certified by the Sake Service Institute, Sake Sommelier Association and Sake Education Council and achieved WSET Sake Level 3 and became a WSET Sake educator. In 2019, he won an international award: The Future50 - Sake Winner, jointly presented by the WSET & IWSC to recognise his significant contribution in a range of areas including career, academia, social responsibility and innovation.

If you’re unable to attend one of these classes due to an unexpected event, such as illness or last minute work commitments, you may reschedule your class 15 business days before the commencement of the class date you signed up for. Otherwise, there is a rescheduling fee of $120 (excluding GST). Please email us at

Course materials will be given on the day of the course however you may wish to collect at our office located at 114 Lavender Street CT Hub 2 #02-60 (Lobby 2) from Monday to Saturday (10 am to 6.30 pm). Please email us at with your full name and course date to arrange for a collection date/time.

Failing is not a word that we use here at Fine Wines SG. We will prepare you with mock exam and tips to ensure that you perform at your optimal level. If you do not pass your exam on the first attempt, you may take it again by purchasing a retake for $120 (excluding GST). We will require 15 working days advance notice to book the exam.

Cancellations of confirmed places are accepted if notification is received in writing up to 14 days prior to the start of the course. An administration fee of $120 will be deducted and the remainder of the course fee(s) will be refunded to the payee. No refund of the course fees will be made for cancellations notified within 14 days prior to the start of the course or once the course has begun.
