Newly tasted!! Serious Premier Cru Chablis with elegance, flinty character, and underlying strength, this wine is perfect for you. Fourchaumes is one of the largest and most respected Premier Cru plots in Chablis, and this 2023 bottling shows real pedigree. Despite frost reducing yields significantly, the wine emerged elegant and feminine in style, with flinty notes and ripe fruit layered over impressive structure. It carries both grace and hidden muscle, reflecting high quality craftsmanship. Production is very low, making this a must try for serious White Burgundy fans. One of the best priced Premier Crus you will ever find!
A classic expression of Chablis Premier Cru terroir. The 2022 Fourchaumes is subtle and structured, showing restrained citrus fruit, chalky minerality, and elegant floral notes. On the palate, it has decent acidity and a soft elegance, which becomes more vivid when served well-chilled, a wine that sharpens and tightens beautifully in the glass. Less overt than the Heritage, but a fine and poised Premier Cru all the same. (5/2025)
