Nals Margreid

One of Alto Adige’s most respected and innovative wine estates, born from the union of two historic cooperatives — Nals (founded in 1932) and Margreid (founded in 1954). Today, it represents a powerful collaboration of passionate growers across South Tyrol, producing wines that beautifully capture the region’s dramatic alpine terroir. What makes Nals Margreid exceptional is the extraordinary diversity of its vineyard sites. Grapes are grown from valley floors up to steep mountain slopes reaching over 900 metres above sea level, across varied soils of limestone, gravel, sand, and porphyry rock. This range of microclimates allows the winery to craft wines of remarkable freshness, purity, and precision.
