Francois Carillon
The Carillon family's winemaking heritage in Puligny-Montrachet stretches back to the 16th century, with records showing a Carillon as a vigneron as early as 1520. The current logo, featured on the label, was inspired by an engraving found on a stone dated 1611 in a village cave. François Carillon, the 15th generation of this esteemed lineage, continues this remarkable tradition with skill and success. He joined the family estate in 1988, working alongside his father, Louis, and his brother, Jacques, to form Domaine "Louis Carillon." François took charge of vineyard farming, contributing to the Domaine's reputation as one of Puligny-Montrachet's most consistently successful estates over three decades. In addition to his vineyard expertise, François also demonstrated exceptional talent in the cellar. In 2010, he decided to establish his own Domaine, following the equal division of the family holdings between him and Jacques.
