Mont Redon
Château Mont-Redon is the largest landowner in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, boasting 100 hectares of prime vineyards. More than half of these vineyards are planted on “diluvium alpin” soil on the high Mistral-blown plateaus, at elevations above 500 feet. The region is renowned for its “galets”—round, heat-absorbing pebbles shaped by the Rhône River over millennia. These unique conditions force the vine roots deep into the soil, producing Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre wines that are rich, powerful, and full-bodied. The remaining vineyards are divided between sandy soils and Urgonian limestone soils. The sandy soils, a result of the Rhône River’s ancient shifts, enhance the aromatic qualities of Syrah, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre. The limestone soils, shallow and mineral-rich, yield white wines bursting with vibrant citrus and white fruit aromas. Embrace the timeless elegance and profound character of Château Mont-Redon wines. Each bottle is a testament to centuries of dedication, the unique terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and the unwavering pursuit of excellence. Indulge in a piece of history and experience the unparalleled quality of Château Mont-Redon.
