Calon Segur

Calon Ségur figures in the 1855 classification as a Third Classified Growth. This ranking of the wines of Gironde, both red and white, was established in anticipation of the 1855 Universal Exhibition, during the reign of Napoléon III. The list was drawn up by the Bordeaux wine brokers at the request of the Gironde Chamber of Commerce.
